Lesley Ann Brandt was a South Africa actress and model born on December 2nd 1981. Her most prominent roles are in television as well as in films. Brandt started out her acting with an appearance in New Zealand comedy Diplomatic Immunity. After that, she landed her first American role on Spartacus: Blood and Sand as Naevia. The actress appeared in a number of shows over the past 10 years, including Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies The Librarians and Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. Brandt is the character Mazikeen in the show based on urban fantasy Lucifer that stars Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro. Brandt was raised in the city of Cape Town in South African. She moved to Auckland, New Zealand with her family in her late teens. Her career began as a model in print and commercial advertisements. Before she became a renowned model, she worked as a retail salesperson, and as a consultant in recruitment for information technology. In the New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity in which she played Leilani F'auigaese back in 2009, her first major role was secured. In 2021, she made her debut on Spartacus Blood and Sand on Starz. She played a slave girl named Naevia. In the miniseries Spartacus Gods of the Arena, she reprised the role of Naevia. Craig Parker co-starred in three TV series: Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (1010) and Legend of the Seeker 2008 together with her. In 2016 she started playing an elusive demon called Mazikeen in Lucifer, the Netflix successful show Lucifer. She has played her leading role until now. In this show, she is co-starring with Tom Ellis Lauren german Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside.

One can only conclude that this lady is destined to become a journalist following her career success. Maria had a difficult time picking a path she wanted to pursue as an adult woman.
