Maureen Denise McCormick - the youngest of Richard McCormick's kids - was born at Woodland Hills, California in the year 1956. The mother of the child was home and was also a mom. Michael Dennis Kevin is her older brother. She has three siblings. McCormick has always loved singing, dancing and creating show puppets. McCormick won in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley Contest when she was just 6 years old and was contacted by Pat Domigan, a talent agent with the Jack Wormser Agency. He was interested in her desire to work in the business of show production. McCormick had her first significant task when she was cast in the commercial for television that was broadcast in 1964 of Mattels newest baby doll Baby Pattaburp. In the same year, she was featured in a second commercial on television for Chatty-Cathy's doll. The following year, McCormick was commissioned by La Jolla Playhouse to play the role of the character It up before It breaks. The Brady Bunch In 1969 McCormick was picked out of a crowd of over 1200 children who auditioned to play the eldest of three towheaded daughters on the new TV comedy The Brady Bunch starring Florence Henderson and Robert Reed as newlyweds with the family of a blended couple. The show lasted five seasons. McCormick in her memoir Heres the Story Surviving Marcia Brady And Finding My True Voice Published In 2008 McCormick told of how in the fifth season of the show she almost lost the love of her life to her twin brother Barry Williams. In 2008, McCormick revealed in her book Here's the Truth: surviving Marcia Brady and Identifying My True Voice that in season five on the show, she was close to losing her virginity to Barry Williams. It could have been, she says. But, the time for our marriage was not right.
