Maureen Denise McCormick was born on the 5th of August 1956, in Woodland Hills California the youngest and only daughter of Richard and Irene McCormick. Her father taught in the school system and her mom was a stay at home mom. Michael Dennis Kevin is her three elder siblings. McCormick was a talented singer and performer from a young age. She would show puppet shows for the neighbors. McCormick won the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley Contest at age 6 and was contacted through Pat Domigan, a talent agent with the Jack Wormser Agency. He asked her if she wanted to join the show business. McCormick got her first big job in 1964 when she starred in a TV commercial featuring Mattels new doll, Baby Pattaburp. The following year she appeared in the company's Chatty Cathy Doll and was quickly selected for her role in the La Jolla Playhouse play Wind ItUp and ItBreaks. The Brady Bunch McCormick, chosen from more than 200 auditioned kids, played the third of three head-to-head daughters, in The Brady Bunch (1969) which starred Florence Henderson and Robert Reed. The five-year run of the show proved to be a huge successful one. McCormick wrote in her book Heres the Story Surviving Marcia Brady And Finding My True Voice Published in 2008 McCormick told of how in the fifth season of the show, she nearly lost her the love of her life to her twin brother Barry Williams. In 2008, she revealed in her book Here's the story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Identifying My True Voice that during season five of the show she almost lost her virginity to Barry Williams. She said that it would have been possible, but we didn't have the proper time to do it.
