Charlotte Church
Charlotte Church, a Welsh musician who was 12 when she recorded her debut album "Voice of an Angel" became famous. She is a skilled actor as well as a singer. She has also presented television programs. At a very young age she displayed the ability to sing naturally and started performing with other people at the age of 3 1/2. In her early years, she started singing classically of hymns. She even performed 'Pie Jesu' on the phone to a T.V. show when she turned 11. The people were introduced to her through her appearance on "Big The Big Talent Show". She was invited to show off at the Royal Albert Hall and Cardiff Arms Park. Charlotte's talents were recognized through Jonathan Shalit, one of UK's most successful entertainment impresarios and who assisted her in signing an agreement to Sony Music and became her manager. She became the youngest singer to be a part of a chart-topping album when she released her debut, 'Voice of an Angel. The album was released in 1999. #1 album on the British chart of classical crossover. Her fame grew throughout the years, and she was invited to sing in front of prominent people such as former US President Clinton, the Prince of Wales Charles and Pope John Paul II.
